Its a natural tendency to want to be part of a cause. To "make a difference" "vent a feeling" "stand up" "voice your opinion" People naturally want to be part of something greater than themselves. In order to satisfy this "need"; People will turn to politics, social causes, church, protest groups, contests of strength, sports, thrill seeking, religion. People have a need to be a part of something greater than they are; and a desire to raise themselves up in some way to be more than they are. This is good; it is godly is so far as God made man to have this need. You have that need. You need to be more than you are; you want to be part of something greater; you know the mundane and everyday world you live in has to have more. AND IT DOES Jesus came to reveal that you were created to be more that you are; He came to show how to be a part of something greater than you are; He said you could be a part of a greater whole to fulfill all that you are.
