Netanyahu: Discussions underway with US on red lines for Iran Israel is discussing with the US what kind of “red lines” need to be drawn to keep Iran from pursuing nuclear weapons, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Sunday.Netanyahu, in a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation interview, said this could be “a clear delineation of a line which Iran cannot cross in its pursuit of the development of nuclear weapons capability. If Iran saw that, there is a chance, I won’t say it’s guaranteed, but there’s a chance they might pause before they cross that line.” The CBC interview came two days after Ottawa severed ties with Tehran, a move Netanyahu praised as an important act of “principle and conviction.” Experts: Israel could send Iran back to Stone Age Sunday Times quotes defense experts as saying that Jewish state could cripple Islamic Republic's power grid with electromagnetic pulses. The newspaper quotes Uzi Rubin, who helped develop Israel’s anti-missile defense shield, as saying that “the use of a nuclear device even for non-lethal use such as EMP is out of the question. There are methods to operate EMP from the ground.” Israel seeks German coordination on arms sales to Arab states Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak with German counterpart Thomas de Maiziere during a visit to Berlin in March, 2012 Germany has increased its arms sales to Arab countries in the past year, citing deals to sell Leopard tanks to Saudi Arabia and advanced frigates to the Algerian navy. German FM: Nuclear Iran would pose threat to entire region Following meeting with Barak, Westerwelle emphasizes shared concerns over Iranian threat, says "a nuclear-armed Iran is not an option"; defense minister lauds security cooperation between the two countries. "The men who have done the most for God in this world have been early on their knees. He who fritters away the early morning, its opportunity and freshness, in other pursuits than seeking God will make poor headway seeking Him the rest of the day. If God is not first in our thoughts and efforts in the morning, He will be in the last place the remainder of the day." - E. M. Bounds
